I realize it�s somewhat unprofessional to critique the comics as they go up, but that�s okay. I�m not a professional. I actually kind of like the way this one turned out. Screw consistent character personalities, the suit turned out half decent. Ooh, that mirror hurts though. Still need some posters. Bleh. Feels good to update. I wonder if anyone�s even reading this. I suppose that�s a stupid question to ask though, because, well, you get the idea. Confused? Read from the beginning. It won't help you understand anything, but at least you'll have read all of them. I'm at kind of a loss for words at the moment, as I'm rushing to work and I'm still getting used to this whole rant thing. But oh well, perhaps some backstory... Basically, last summer I worked at a record store back where I used to live in California. Really fun summer, great people, ok paycheck, all that sort of fun. Then there were the customers... A lot of the random single strip things are based on evil people I had to deal with at some point or another. I also did(and still kinda do) have a habit of wearing a backwards red baseball cap and my red(although now very tattered) BU sweatshirt a whole hell of a lot more than I should. But oh well, Poe is in some ways me, and in some ways not. I don't really have any idea which parts yet, but I'm sure they'll work themselves out at some point. Becca got her name from a friend, I have no idea where the rest came from(you'll slowly realize my mind sometimes escapes me)(I also use parentheses waaayyy too much). Also, a belated thanks to Dan cause he's doing the website and I forgot to mention him in the first rant. READ FROM THE BEGINNING, it will make more sense!(see Mike's link above) |

| 176. Comic: Copper: Copper is my favorite webcomic. Every strip is inspiringly beautiful and bursting with imagination, but beyond that, they consistently resonate with profundity without screaming "Look at ME, aren't I profound!?" I tried to write a lot more corny praise, but just go read all of them instead, you won't be sorry. I was hoping to wait for Kazu Kibuishi to get back to it so I could scream about its return, but it's been quite a while already, so I'll just link it again once that happens. |
