Wee, back, and tired. I'll throw up some tidbits about Hawaii later, but for now it is Scanathon 2003. I have a ton of doodles I want to finish up, so together with the strip I've got quite a bit of drawing/cging time layed out for me. Huzzah! More later. And yes, I plan to make good on that three a week promise after this college orientation thing. Update: Dammit, the printer's broken. Some of the inking's going to have to wait (not for the comic, just some of my side stuff). Also, I don't mean to complain, but I absolutely hate the way 3/4 of this particular strip turned out, wow. Apparently Drew likes it though, so whatever. I hate to whine, but at least the next one is better. |

I think I'll do a full review/summary/rant of the entire arc once its done, I promise. Until then, I'll just put in quick comments. Oohh! tension! yay! Tune in all next week for the exciting conclusion! Seriously though, the third panel in this one is quite uber. It is. |

Every strip is inspiringly beautiful and bursting with imagination, but beyond that, they consistently resonate with profundity without screaming "Look at ME, aren't I profound!?" I tried to write a lot more corny praise, but just go read all of them instead, you won't be sorry. I was hoping to wait for Kazu Kibuishi to get back to it so I could scream about its return, but it's been quite a while already, so I'll just link it again once that happens. |
