Dear Strip #119,

Your pencils had such potential, how could you disappoint me so fiercely? Your varied angles spoke with such vision, your cliffhanger promised such suspense. Naively, I attributed your subpar inked appearance to the normal flatness between pencil and coloring stages, yet the colors have found you looking no better, and simply put, your backgrounds breach every human notion of aesthetics. I find your final incarnation not just lacking, but insulting, especially given the time I invested in you when you know other projects legitimately demand my attention. As such, this affair can last no longer. I hope you understand how gravely violated you leave me.

Look, I'm stealing Drew's rant slot! Well, ugly strips are good news for you, because now I have to find time to update again. I was going to expound on the multitude of disasters this strip brought about and then link some stuff I've been working on, but I really have to get back to work. So, guess I'll do that, and just leave you with the false promise of links...

177. Artist: JF Bruckner: Oh yeah, jfb is awesome too! Right, right, more artists and comics, I forget so easily...

176. Comic: Copper: Copper is my favorite webcomic. Every strip is inspiringly beautiful and bursting with imagination, but beyond that, they consistently resonate with profundity without screaming "Look at ME, aren't I profound!?" I tried to write a lot more corny praise, but just go read all of them instead, you won't be sorry. I was hoping to wait for Kazu Kibuishi to get back to it so I could scream about its return, but it's been quite a while already, so I'll just link it again once that happens.
